oh, sorry, i didn't realize you were a mod. if a mod didn't like me making another thread like this, then mummelman's should be deleted too. but look, neither of our threads have been erased. maybe you should take this up with one of them and report me for making duplicate threads.

anyway, you're right. it does seem evil enough now that i'm about to step into act 4.

Mods dont come around the PC section as much, nor do probably check every single little content in every single little post. This thred is a duplicate of mummelman's therefore this is the locked one, not his. I don't know why you think both should be locked....

I have read both threads, i have no problem with having two threads going at the same time.

Once i've gone into a thread once(depends on when i enter, how many more post there has been) i enjoy reading different peoples opinions. I see no problem in having two going at once.

There is a very specific rule about duplicate threads.

i seem to be rather... overpowered? i'm rolling a barbarian who just completely destroyed azmodan in like.... 15 seconds? he didn't even have a chance to do any kind of spell on me. he just.... melted. i have close to 500 dps. i just used call of the ancients and blasted the hell out of him.

Needing a constant Internet connection is a 100% deal breaker for me. Also, what happened to the atmosphere from the original? I know that Diablo 2 really stripped out a lot of what made the first Diablo so ominous and gloomy but it seems that Blizzard have taken it to a new level with D3.

The single player server lag makes my choice easy, no sale. I'll wait for a console version, unless they try that nonsense on consoles too. The only multiplayer I'm interested in would be couch co-op anyway.

I'm getting quite bummed out on pc gaming lately, all my favorite franchises are going in directions I don't like.

Age of Empires Online with gfwl, no thanks.
Microsoft flight, a freemium extremely simplified version of flight simulator, no thanks.
Simcity 5 always online multiplayer, no thanks.
Diablo 3 always online with lag, NO thanks.
I am very afraid now what's going to happen to Civilization 6.

It saves me upgrading my pc at least. There's plenty of indie games to enjoy and older games from gog.com. Plus I have some drm free games to look forward to from Kickstarter. Main stream pc gaming however is dying quickly for me.

my main gripe with D3 is that once the attack animation of an enemy begins you can't "dodge" the hit by running away, but only with your dodge/block stats

that part of the game feels really old and frustrating to be honest

My only complaint about the game is the online requirement. I slightly understood the problems with the launch night, but did not realize that the single player may be taken down every week for server maintenance and sometimes for as long as eight hours at a time. Really sucks with limited game playing time. If they plan on this every Tuesday i will have to try and return the game as that is my main day to play games right now. Color me disappointed.
