Nah, they're fine. But not one Boss group AND a group of Elite soul lashers at once... I died, many times. And then I quit and now I'm here telling you this.


I thought that the guys who spin and take only like 10% damage while spninning in act 2 were FAR worse, at least as a monk.

They can be, depends what abilities they have. I have actually met boss groups that I could not defeat with both my characters, my Demon Hunter ran into a boss group of Corrupted Angels on Act IV on Hell. They were Fast, Vampiric, Jailer and Waller. They were practically immortal since they had both me and two henchmen (Templar and Tyrael) to munch on, took them about ten seconds of leeching to gain their full hit points back.

Some bosses with Invulnerable Minions are also a pain but I have yet to face one I could not defeat, these bosses are often fairly weak besides the minions.

Another gripe I have is that while I understand why Blizzard would want to make this game simpler for the masses I miss the days of Diablo 2 where you could have powerful custom builds. While gear has always been important at least the skills you chose to focus on defined your character. Now the game is entirely built on gear IMHO.

edit. Just tried to log on and I keep getting a message saying there is a new patch available and the game resets and brings up the launcher which indicates the game is up to date. The end result is that it is still impossible to log on. Keep up the great work Blizzard!!!

100mb connection? you're probably thinking of your lan connection, which basically everyone has access to. I'm in australia and i'm pretty sure 100mb internet exists nowhere, let alone here. I  have minimal lag on the US servers and basically none on the asain sever. It isn't blizzard because my brother and his freind who I play with all the time have no trouble either, while each living in seperate houses with differnt ISPs.

Freeking EU servers were down all evening yesterday, just in time to spoil my comeback to the game after two days of power outage (self inflicted), grrrrrrrrrr.

This was a test I just carried out. Now given I recognise that the 100Mb is a theoratical maximum and depending on how busy the servers are can affect my speed but I can assure you that this plan is real. It's available with Optus. And just to avoid any possible confusion I was referring to 100 megabits per sec not 100 megabytes.

That upload speed is horrible! I have only 25Mb down but still around 5Mb up. What's up with that?

So true. Maybe they are paranoid people will start setting up servers and hosting all sorts of content :)
