Not really, there seems to be at least one default gun that can be very effective if you know how to use it. Not saying CoD games aren't getting repetitive though.

Maybe that has changed since Modern Warfare, but before then you definitely would get a much, much better gun that took twice as few bullets to kill people if you played the game for a few hours...

I agree. WaW &BLOPS > MW2 & MW3.


Have you played COD4 though? I'm assuming so and I sure hope so. Not a big IW fan at all but I think COD4 deserves all the praise it gets because it made the Call of Duty franchise reach the height it has now. It definitely belongs in the top 5 best shooters ever and it's up there with Half Life 2, Goldeneye, Halo and Doom as the most groundbreaking shooters. One of the best shooter campaigns ever and it set the standard for online multiplayer gaming.

 

Overall however, personally Black Ops is my favorite COD game. Despite the graphics, it has one of the best campaigns, zombies is infinitely replayable while spec ops is a borefest and it has the best multiplayer imo but maybe that's because I'm easily the best in BO's MP, Lol.

Yeah, yeah, CoD4 is by far the best game, but IW haven't produced anything "good" since.
