Forums - Microsoft - Update: Halo Truck Leads Forza Horizon December IGN Car Pack

Forza Horizon and NFS most wanted 2012 both look to be good, and I'll play them both. Got to have my cop chases!
NFS will sell more anyway, even the totally crap versions sell. 3.38m for the run, 6.22m for undercover, 8.23m for prostreet. Although the series is in decline.

There's just 1 thing missing still, I want to race in a city bus like in the original Burnout. It gives such a satisfying thump when you hit a car with a bus :)

i wonder how NFS stills sells so much...

The game was beast back on Ps2 days, i bought all of them - Underground 1/2 and Most Wanted bur now most of their games have been bad.

Btw Forza Season passa will cost 50$ or 4000 MS Points. lol

Is that it???????????

Thats an amazing deal. To buy all of Forza 4's DLC without a pass would be like 12,000 points.

Turn 10 do more dlc than anyone. Good dlc to.

Erm, good deal? That's almost the price of another game for 6 par packs and an unnamed expansion.
Plus according to this the total cost is $58 dollars, not 12k points
http://www.gamespot.com/news/forza-horizon-gets-50-dlc-pass-6397202

Purchased separately, all DLC for Forza Horizon will cost about $58, meaning those who pick up the Season Pass will save about 17 percent. The DLC pass for Forza Horizon is the most expensive in the series to date, significantly surpassing Forza 4's $30 offering.

Forza 4's is better value, but wasn't the Porsche DLC not included in the pass? And are there any new tracks yet?

New tracks are you kidding?

Forza 4 season pass is well worth $60. let alone its only $30.

Turn 10 announce certain DLC, then bring a wole load more later. All included in season pass.

Turn 10 give majorly good value for money.

Most Wanted is shping up to be really bad ( especially the Driver hop in and out of any car game mechanic ). WTF are Criterion thinking basically making Driver but in Most Wanted.

Horizon all the way. No competition.

Horizon will be worth every penny and the rest. As Forza 4 is.

Some people like variety, I'll play both without prejudice.
I've recently finished Test drive: Ferrari racing legends. Not a steller game by any means, but it had a lot of nice track variations I had never driven before. New tracks is what keeps me coming back to GT5 now and then, same as the extra island expansion got me playing burnout paradise again. I hope the unknown expansion to Forza Horizon will be extra ground to cover.
Driver was good fun too, car hopping worked and you get to slam busses into cars :)

Driver was probably the worst of all of them that I played this gen. Car hopping thankfully wont be reappearing after the fan backlash the devs got for it. The next title they said they will remove it. It was to easy, gave the game absolutely no measure whatsoever.

Forza 3 and 4 have loads of tracks added after release. If you were to buy all Forza 4's DLC you'd be looking at over 12,000 points. Car packs, tracks, events, special bodykits, engine parts.

Forza brings alot more content than other racing games.

Horizon will be no differnt.

You dont have to buy the season pass, you can buy individual DLC if you wish. But any Forza fan must get the season pass. It'll save money as I have every Forza 4 DLC. About an extra 12 GB download altogeter.

Try as I might, I can't find any other tracks added to Forza 4 then the Top Gear test track. If you like new cars then you're good with Forza, if you like new tracks, you're better of buying new racing games.

Driver still got pretty difficult in the end. I was stuck a few times on some missions with zero room for error.

No season pass for me. I bought a car pack once, as it seemed a good deal with the first course pack for GT5. I think I only drove those cars once, probably not even touched all of them. I don't care much for what car I drive, there is plenty of variety in the base games. Give me a game with 200 tracks and 50 cars and I'll be playing it for years :)

Driver was waaaay better than expected. Great game with cool story and lots of fun.

I suppose its subjective.

But complaints about a season pass price are pretty rediculous. Its aimed at those like me who will buy all Forza DLC.
