warhawk is the kind of game that you really like only when you get good at it if not you will hate it because you'll spend more time dead then alive in-game, the community is also very skillfull which make it really hard for new players. Starhawk seems to have diminish the importance of air combat in the game which might explained why few have upgrade from warhawk to it, also the dog fight in warhawk >>> starhawk

Not flaming at all....actually said I was surprised at purely factually low launch week sales. People here said worse and they are console neutral.

Well Twisted Metal and Starhawk are the main standouts for PS3 so far. I dont expect high sales of Jak and Daxter collection, Tales of Graces, or MLB The Show. 

Your opening line is intriguing....its full damage control. Promoting exclusives is the cornerstone of your stance......its why you claim PS3 is the gamers choice and/or the better console then 360.

Then you get numbers like these......and your gonna tell me its perfectly ok to ignore PS3s strongpoints?

I think the issue is less about the games quality and more about Sonys complete lack of getting the word out that the game exists.

Every exclusive adds value to the console. Alan Wake didn't sell that much at all but there were people who thought, "Man I have to get this game. I have to buy a 360 now!" It's no different than Uncharted, Gears, Halo, God of War, etc. If Uncharted and GoW were multiplatform, where's the big incentive to buy a PS3? It's not valued as much when the other console would have these games along with their big exclusives.

Also, internet forums/blogs have a means to hyping a particular product to hell, then it under-performs due unrealistic expectations. Examples from both Sony and MS: Windows Phone 7 and Playstation Vita.

I'm not surprised that Starhawk flopped at all.

Global #s are up! Looks like Starhawk opened with about 108,000. Mario Party is still doing well. Mario 3D Land broke 6 million. Just Dance 3 broke 9 million. Mario Kart Wii broke 32 million. Kid Icarus is holding alright. Besides that, it looks like the usual suspects.
