Forums - Sony - PSN finally gets pre-loading like Steam!

This is a pretty neat feature. Can't wait for Sorcery, either.

As for download speeds, they used to pretty bad, but lately they haven't been that bad. Personally, I usually get ~1-2 MBs per second. So for 1 GB of data it usually takes ~8-16 mins. I don't have a 360 nor have I downloaded anything on my Wii, so I don't know how they compare.

good idea... but they need to sort out their bandwidth or whatever else it is that makes downloading from PSN so effin' slow. I downloaded LBP2 the other day... took forever!! So much slower than both Ninty and MS, cant for the life of me see why.

Mine is relatively fast, 1gb takes about 10-20mins depending on the day regardless, I rarely notice as I'm doing other things whilst it downloads

mines about the same. 20- 25 mins for 1 gig

This. Steam is the example of what an online gaming system should be.

Yeah, they need to start selling games digital downloads for £10 first.

You don't go on PSN or PSN Plus much, do you?

He meant sub 10

Again...it would still be in question because there are games under ten. Plus even makes them more affordable as well.

That doesn't count because it has a "B" in its title

PS One/2/p/3slim/Vita owner. I survived the Apocalyps3/Collaps3 and all I got was this lousy signature.

Yes I see. B is a bad letter it spells bad words like umm Bad and B*llocks and BullSh*t.

Sorry about this stupid mistake. I will go away and whip myself 100 times with a hazelnut stick while shouting "im a stupid fool"

Wow that's a great feature. EU only for now.

I prefer physical copies though.

I wouldn't mind PSN's framework being powered by Steam tbh.
