Darksiders 2, the highly anticipated sequel to the excellent Darksiders, has a new release date of August 14th and pre-orders for the title have been outstanding. According to twitter, pre-orders for the game is 5 times higher than its predecessor and has to make THQ happy.

Unlikely. The Wii U version will probably twiddle its thumbs until the Wii U is released.

Alternatively, maybe the Wii U version will go on sale before the system itself does. It could be an early Xmas present to future owners. Crazy, but the Vita did it first!

not really, the "first edition bundle" was already out.
