Intel 47 39.83%

AMD 41 34.75%

Both are great 18 15.25%

Both suck 1 0.85%

What's a processor? 10 8.47%

Total:117

Just wondering who here prefers which when it comes to processors?

AMD because I am poor

AMD, because I'm a AMD fanboy.

I'm running a Intel Quad though.

I was an AMD fan but they are dead and they can't come back.

I don't like Intel because they can't code a Linux driver.

intel is superior in terms of cpu power amd have better GPUs and are much cheaper

i myself just a few days ago bought a laptop this is my 3rd PC to date i still own and use a compaq AMD athlon form 01 my 2nd PC, bought the laptop as a secondary and was just bored one day. was completely lost with windows 7 and all the bloatware on it i like xp after days of messing with it i got running and looking like i want.  my CPU process in the task manager has yet to go above 25% while using the laptop the same way i would with my old PC that gets pegged just by changing the web page or opening a program,  havent tried any games on it but youtube vids show i can handle games released this and last year on some  good settings with pretty good FPS

my laptop is a HP AMD quad core A8 3520M APU with radeon 6620g i picked it for new for $500, ive done some research and found out that AMDs have slower CPUs but most all the time out perform Intels in graphics processing

i say both are great but it really depens on what you going to use it for

Intel, because I know more about them.

Intel because AMD is poor.

I honestly don't know the difference between any brand-name Graphics cards or CPUs. I know the difference in power and quality between tiers of cards, but between brands? Nope...

AMD if you're on a budget.
Intel if you are not.

I usually mix them up have one thing AMD, the other Nvidia. If I have an Intel CPU, then an ATI/AMD gpu..

AMD because everything Intel I have ever owned has crapped out on me.
