The DS was able to run Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, I think the vita can run Block ops 2 just fine.

That game is totally different, it was built from the ground up for the DS by n-Space. The missions are side stories based around the plot of the full game, you don't even play the same characters.

Nah... I think CoD for the Vita will be build with the hardware limitation in mind: more linear, more corridors, smaller maps, less enemies, less AI etc....

Is that possible?
Besides I would have though the new commander mode thing in Blops 2 would be perfect for the Vita.

To keep the game running at 20fps (which is truly onacceptable for a First Person Shooter) the gameplay will also be much slower. Enemies jumping in front of you so you don't have to aim at all.

And?
You aren't going to be playing them on a screen bigger than 5" that isn't OLED so that argument is silly.

http://www.eurogamer.net/articles/digitalfoundry-tech-analysis-uncharted-golden-abyss Considering that COD already runs at 960x544 and has low res textures etc there is much less room to lower other things to maintain the framerate, especially as a COD port is likely going to get far less attention than an exclusive 1st party game. a resolution of arround 720x408 + a rock solid 30fps would be a great achivement for the Vita. |
It also runs at 60fps on consoles though whilst Uncharted is half that. I doubt they'll keep to that on Vita and instead go for 30fps. I also don't think texture res will be a problem; they could lower it slightly for the smaller screen and I don't think many people would notice. I think there's plenty they can mess around with to make it work.
(CoD in less than 60 fps)
Didnt activision say that 60 fps is one of the most important aspects of CoD?
if so i belive they will at least reach this one, even if it means sacrifice other graphic aspects.
the only thing that would take a hit is anti-aliasing
