Forums - Sony - Could the Vita handle Call of Duty: BO2?

Im thinking itll go the same way the Wii handled COD games

Xbox: Best hardware, Game Pass best value, best BC, more 1st party genres and multiplayer titles.

Of course the PS Vita can handle it.

Worst case scenario: drop a few effects here and there, small resolution or FPS drop and it's done, all content on it with barely noticeable graphical differences by 90% of people who aren't tech savvy.

Never overestimate Sony. In theory the Vita is capable but in reality it does 50% maximum of what the PS3 can do. Maybe it will have the same title CoD: BlackOps2 but expect it to be stripped down heavily to make it run at 20-30fps

Golden Abyss didn't look stripped down compared to Drakes Fortune, same frame-rate.

Thats because your playingin a small screen not on your LED 50 inch.

Yay!!!

That's right. What's your point?

Easily

Will it be the exact same? No.

But should it? I would steal a few ideas from Unit 13, a shooter fit for a handheld experience.

I dont care what they do to make it run as long as they dont drop the player count like Resistance 4v4 is to small

My point is becuase the screen is so small that you wont see the elements that were stripped down. Why dont you connect your vita to your television that you play your uncharted in?

Im almost certain that you will see elements stripped down.

Yay!!!

I agree, but since you aren't playing on a big screen and you are playing on the Vita's 5 inch screen it is far harder to notice any differences.

Fortunately, nobody plays Vita games on a 50 inch TV. So...

You make a very good point.
