With the announcement of Street Fighter 4 a few weeks ago, and the upcoming release of Super Smash Brothers Brawl, I thought I would make a list of the ten best fighting games. My list goes like this:

1. Super Smash Brothers Melee

2. Marvel vs. Capcom: Clash of the Super Heroes

3. Super Street Fighter 2: Turbo

4. Soul Calibur

5. Mortal Kombat 2

6. Street Fighter 3: Third Strike

7. Tekken 3

8. Soul Calibur 2

9. Street Fighter Alpha 2

10. Super Smash Brothers

Keep in mind that I haven't played the Dead or Alive or the Virtua Fighter series, and I can't put a game on here that I haven't played. This is going by fun as well, not by how "realistic" or "technical" it is. Those are the games I enjoyed the most.
