5255 Level 5 third try did worse then first try the second time I tried it.

16620 Level 10 fourth try good enough for me gets harder at level seven when they take the country grid away.

As an American I have a handicap. Most of that map is fictional. :P I could get to around 10k. Played 3 times.

I got 5,400, I got the right countries, just the wrong areas.

I don't understand how I failed on level 4, I got every country right except for Mauritania, which I knew was northwestern Africa but put the thing in Mali by mistake.

You are meant to aim at the town/city... not just the country. Each time you choose a place you will see some info on your score, if you get within a certain distance (I think it must be about 200-250km) it gives you a multiplier of 3 to your distance score, and getting even closer (within about 50km) it gives you a multiplier of 5.
