I'd like a sequel.

Gaming on: PS4 Pro, Switch, SNES Mini, Wii U, PC (i5-7400, GTX 1060)
I would love a sequel. I liked this game more than Mario Kart. I'm sure there are plenty of others who would agree with me to make it a worthwhile venture for Nintendo to make a sequel.
DKR>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>MK64
Better gfx, better sound, better control, better gameplay, better tracks, better multiplayer... better everything!

You know I was always wondering why no one ever used the dollar sign for $ony, but then I realized they have no money so it would be pointless.

Agreed, but I still want both, dammit!
Actually, what Nintendo should do for MK is give it the SSB treatment... meaning instead of just cookie cutter characters from the Mario series in the next MK installment, have all kinds of characters from all the different Nintendo franchises competing, and have tracks based on their respective games. Who WOULDN'T want to race through Hyrule Field, or the Brinstar Depths, or all around one of the many cities in Pokemon?!?

Hmm... The thing is though that Mario Kart is a very strong brand with many characteristic features that has remained untouched since the first game. So I think the best options would be if: 1) They make it a separate series or 2) they make it a bonus feature/mode in the next Super Smash Bros. (There shuld be a lot memory left on the disc for that given how simple the SSB maps and overall layout is).
And yeah, I actually want a new F-Zero more than a new Diddy Kong Racing. I just felt the need to shoot down their argument that there's no room for it.

Diddy Kong Racing had one entry which sold approximately half as much as Mario Kart 64 (which is more than great).
I could see Diddy Kong Racing Returns actually.
But probably moreso on the 3DS once Mario Kart 7 sales slow a bit.
On Wii U they probably want to focus on Mario Kart U I would guess.
This was the best kart racer ever made until Mario Kart Wii came out. The hovercraft and planes were just awesome. I really loved the battle stages too.
