Forums - Sony - Mortal Kombat Vita is a hit with Critics! Is this the game the West has been waiting for?

As for the topic at hand.

No, it is not the game the West has been waiting for. Giving the Vita it's 5th or 6th fighter won't help matters.

Give me a fucking JRPG.

Disgaea 3 Vita came out 2 weeks ago, comes with all the DLC worth over $100 as well as new Vita exclusive content. If you like SRPGs you should check it out.

i will be getting this on Vita (fighters are better on handhelds) but no, it won't help sales

Fighters aren't exactly hardware pushers on handhelds from my experience.

I LOVE ICELAND!

This is part of the problem with the Vita pumping out little more than ports right now.

I knocked out Disgaea 3 years ago and currently have Disgaea 4 in my backglog of games at home.

No need to spend $40 for something I already beat.

The crux of Disgaea games has always been the post game content and not the 10-15 hour campaign. If you didn't touch any of the DLC, that and the new Vita content is well worth the price of admission but it's understandable not to want to pay for the game again. Resistance, Silent Hill and Little King Story 2 will be out in May if ports aren't your cup of tea.

Did you buy a Vita again?

The Metascore is currently at 89! I may sell my PS3 version and get the Vita version.

I have been a fan of Disgaea since Disgaea 1 on PS2, so I know all about the Item World.

DLC like extra characters and Rasberryl's quests never interested me though and I won't pay $40 for it. Who knows, maybe i'll grab this when it's $20.
