I vaguely remember enjoying this as a somewhat silly bond.

In positive news I've convinced my girlfriend (who does not like Bond but has only seen Brosnan bond movies) to watch a single oldschool Bond. I'm thinking From Russia With Love would be the best to convince her that the series is in fact completely awesome. Any other opinions on the best Bond to convince somebody that the series is amazing?

Goldfinger should do the trick too.

I did that intentionally with my "I'm not buying this 3D thing thread" and didn't get anywhere near 500 replies.  I must not be very good at it.

It's because people know that you are intelligent, so even if you are good at pretending to be stupid, they'll realize that you are just messing around.

Fair enough.

I know that you are not a big Bond fan, but have you ever seen Octopussy or Never Say Never Again?  NSNA is the one where Connery returns as Bond and is 115 years old.  Octopussy is the one where Roger Moore is still Bond and is 118 years old.

So Roger Moore aged more rapidly than Sean Connery. He must be a clone like Solid Snake then!

Roger Moore is actually three years older than Sean Connery, believe it or not.

I always believe you when it comes to Bond related trivia

Was seam connery wearing a tupee in his last movie?

Yes, it was rumored that he was wearing one since Goldfinger.

What! I doubt that.

You are not usually on right now. What a treat! Does this have anything to do with the happyd/rol/amp debacle of 2012?

I'm serious for once.

This is the most that I have posted in one day in a while.  :p

I know I think the server is going to crash because of it.

I have been a bad thread buddy. I think I forgot to put a trailer for the last few movies.

That's okay.  You do post in all of my threads and thank you for that.

Will try to check out "Never Say Never Again" this weekend. Just reading up on it, didn't realize it isn't considered part of the official series.

I haven't posted in all of your threads, but I have read all of the Bond ones.

I describe myself as a little dose of toxic masculinity.

Good review and spot on score I'd say. Looking forward to the Never Say Never Again review.

Try to be reasonable... its easier than you think...

You guys were right about Goldfinger =P

She also now thinks that Sean Connery is the sexiest man to have ever lived.

"After leaving with the money, Kamal Khan sends Gobinda to kill him which leads to a chase through the streets of New Dehli which includes sword swallowers, a bed of nails, and hot coals."

Kind of reminds me of Aladdin.

"He wakes up in the Monsoon Palace and is treated to a disgusting dinner in a scene that was shamefully ripped off in Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom a year later."

Come to think of it, Temple of Doom was much more James Bond-ish than the other indies. The initial scene at the bar wearing a white suit and tie, indie all spazzy, never saw it that way.

"Kamal comes to the palace and sees him. He's not to happy and hires assassins to kill Jame including a guy with a saw on a yo-yo."

This litterally made me laugh.

"She offers James a job, but he refuses. She gets angry and then makes love to him because that's how things work in real life."

This too :)

Always a nice journey I get in these reviews.
