Jet Force Gemini was one of my favorite N64 titles and I would love to see a sequel/remake to the game.
I always felt like this was Rare's most underrated game. The gameplay was a unique mixture of Third person shooting/platforming/ and adventure game that I absolutely love. I think if they re-introduced this game it would be like breath of fresh air to the gaming industry.
The game holds a special place in my heart for many reasons. I remember reading the previews in Nintendo Power about this game and wanting so bad to play it. I made sure to know when it was going to be released. I had saved up money for the game, and when it came out I actually gave money to my friend so he could pick it up for me. Needless to say it was money well spent and I immediately fell in love with it. The graphics/music/atmosphere/and gameplay all came together perfectly.
I'm an advocate for motion controls, Nintendo, and Kicking freaking Toad to the Moon!

Rare had some of the best games of N64's twilight. If it weren't for them, the N64 wouldn't have been the gem it was. Goldeneye included.

Can't find any concrete evidence on who owns the IP, but it looks like it's still owned by Rare/MS from what I can find.

“It appeared that there had even been demonstrations to thank Big Brother for raising the chocolate ration to twenty grams a week. And only yesterday, he reflected, it had been announced that the ration was to be reduced to twenty grams a week. Was it possible that they could swallow that, after only twenty-four hours? Yes, they swallowed it.”
