Still reeling from the news that PSASBR is real? Get over it, because there’s more stuff to read.

On the same GTTV show, everyone’s favorite analyst Michael Pachter is now predicting that GTA V will be the biggest game of E3… but won’t actually be at E3.

Rockstar has outgrown the show. They’re too cool for the show

My read on those guys is that they like stealing the thunder from everyone else. So my guess is that we’ll hear an announcement the day before E3 so that that’s all everyone will be able to talk about.

Pachter guessed at an October 23rd release for GTA V and that Rockstar doesn’t care about ‘Bioshock 2‘ (we think he meant Bioshock Infinite) and the close release proximity.

But seriously, a E3 showing this year would be nice.

I dont see the logic behind this idea.... why reveal it a day early? I mean GTA 5 is big, and by acting like its the biggest IP at the moment is just dilusional. CoD will rape GTA and Halo combined It will probably loose some sales along the way, but it wont loose its crown

GTA5 will be at one of the big shows. Im guessing MS, just because theyll probably have timed exclusive pink panties or something.

Pachter Pachter, GTA will not be the game of the year. CoD will likely take that title from a sales perspective and from a quality perspective we have not seen much of what will be shown. My bet is the next generation games shown for WiiU, PC and Sony/Microsoft's systems will trample GTA in the quality department. GTA is not the IP to be watching towards this years show.

It is hard to gauge what Pachter is actually thinking, my bet is his most anticipated game is GTA V and not that he actually believes that it is the game to watch!

This might have made sense if you were under the impression that GTAIV had grown the franchise in the same fashion as the last three main GTA games. Sorry Patcher but CoD is probably going to be the biggest game at this years E3 (again).

This is another prediction by Pachter I love. It would be hard for any other game to get my attention come E3 unless it was a new IP I want from MS, Sony or the Wii U.

Safe bet.

I'm expecting lots on GTAV at E3, most importantly a release date (hopefully in the 2012 calendar year!)
