Well... the Gamecube was the console Nintendo made that followed the leader, and... Nintendo's crowd isn't about doing what everyone else does, simple as that.

No, those are WW sales. The Gamecube did really bad.

well Wii likely close to PS1 if not past it. nothing will likely ever pass PS2. and i still feel PS3's going to reach 125m ww. the thing PS has going for it is longevity. well NES (famicom) was on the market until 2001 i think.
Shame the Gamecube did so badly,very underrated console with some great games..one of my favourite consoles

A big portion of those Gamecubes were sold to hardcore fans, and those buy a lot of games, so the software ratio for the Gamecube isn't strange at all!

Nah those are official numbers, it's been low 20s on official reports for years now. It definitely deserved far better.
