I'm a bit disappointed about the SSB gameplay style tbh...cuz I really don't care much for that game. But I'm gonna end up buying this just for the fan service at least! I mean Kratos vs Radec? Oh yes

that LBP stage level is just BRilliant! and hydra vs quark and patapon vs hades...the mashup style of the stages is a very good idea..it definitely keeps things interesting.

and two decades of sony characters people! don't leave anyone out :D

I want to believe but I just know they will omit PS1 characters. Though they mentioned 3rd party characters, my fingers are crossed for Maximo. But I'm guessing they mean 'popular non exclusive third party characters' such as Ezio.

Yep, I hope. 20 years of characters is a lot to pull from and they made it sound like there's a lot of variety..that and apparently they've been working on it for two and a half years.

I can't believe I just realized this, but you guys are right! If this game has good online, that'll GREATLY increase the game's longevity. I loves me some brawl, but knowing I'm better off not playing my friends in australia due to the insufferable lag ruining the experience really hurt. Now I can get my buddies in the UK, Australia, US, Japan, and everywhere else to get this game and we can play it together! I don't usually care for online multiplayer, but damn this has so much potential.

I still think they should boost the local players to 6 or 7, though. That's one way they can make this game stick out; Wii can't handle 7 wiimotes.

I like Ezio and Assassin's Creed enough I almost bought Soul Calibur V.

No way they'll do that many characters and stages, 20-30 chars seems reasonable to me.

It would definitely push units, but i'd just love to see some recognition for 3rd party exclusive characters. Won't know more until E3 I guess.

What will make or break this for me is how great the support will be from third party games.

@Nintendopie Not just here but it will at other places, guaranteed. Nintendo fanboys will easily dismiss the game. What they don't realize is that we've been asking for this kind of game for ages.

I don't think it's a crime to take stuff from a really good game within a genre and apply what works to your own game. Nothing wrong with that.

I think Ezio is a gurantee personally as well. But I also wouldn't be surprised to see some characters from games like Crash Bandicoot series and Legend of Dragoon. If sony is smart they will do just that

I'm hoping for a proper reveal trailer soon, with actual good quality footage. The video on GT was all over the place with quality.
