I think people need to stop worrying about this game. It's Dragon Quest, in Japan. People would play it on the NES whilst being forced to wear oven gloves to play it. THAT'S how big it is.
And it's likely these things won't come over here (Tri) or be on the WiiU version anyway, so I wouldn't worry.

This is pretty much my thoughts as well. Square is doing about all they can to mess this up.
Online MMO? Wonder if it will be as good as FF XIV.
