I've never played pikmin before. Should I?

Its essentially the only great non-PC RTS series. If that intrigues you, yes.

How are the controls then? Having no keyboard and all.

YES! Only other Wii game I can conceive wanting at this point in the cycle.

I wanted that game originally and I figured it was lost until Wii U at the earliest. Thank god NOA decided to put it out.

I guess they need something to release on Wii still (since NoA isn't releasing TLS(directly), PT or FF2:CB) and this is a good bet to prime fans for Pikmin 3 on WiiU.

I like how NoA is bringing over games now...but this is kinda hilarious.

I agree, Soriku.

Have you noticed your latest threads have been all good news? You starting on Okami (Sadly on PS2 though...) and now this one.

Watchu talkin' about?! OF COURSE!

At this point, they might as well bundle Pikmin 1 and 2 on the same disc in preparation for the 3rd game.

I'd love to see a special trilogy bundle like with Metroid Prime Trilogy, but in this case comes with the release of Pikmin 3.

I played the first one some. Only some. Because I mainly skipped the GC. So I would be overjoyed if they decided to put both of them in the same case as a pre-order only

Thye should make a Special Edition Pikmin 3 one with all three of the games in it. Pikmin 1 and 2 would be re-mastered in HD.

Boom! Even better.

I only played the GameCube version, but I found the controls to work very well, if only because Pikmin is different than most other RTS's.
