When I bought it, it costs a lil more. So in a way I'm a little sore about being an earlier adopter. But oh well, that's the price early adopters pay. So it's not much of a thing to cry over.

Does it work with pc gaming?

its a display, not a tv . its perfect for PC gaming.

people are talking to me like I'm an idiot here. There are several different kinds of 3d on pc. I'm asking if specifically this one works.

There is also 3d vision 1 and 2, fyi

Your original question was does it work with pc gaming? Yes, yes it does. Should have been more specific if you wanted a different answer.

And to answer your question, I'm not sure. I'm not too familiar with 3d displays.

Its good in theory, but then we all know Television is Sonys worst division.

Its standard to offer great deals when your not doing good in the market.

Does that have anything to do with this? Their television division has lost a lot of money, but that does not mean this particular TV is bad

Yes it does. When someone is in the market for a TV, you do your research. I wouldnt invest in a brand that is well known is become severely downsized. SOme people would think that equates to the tv brand being of sub par quality.

But hey, its times like this where Sony has to become a loss leader to stay alive. It is a great deal but it all depends how many gamers are gonna jump on this.

LOL, get back to the microsoft forums buddy..

good deal...

Shows you how insanely over priced it was that they haven't been able to get a market for them and are virtually giving them away to kill off the stock. It was the only way they were going to shift them.

Though, why anyone wants to play 3d on a 24inch screen is beyond me... actually, why anyone wants to play in 2d on a 24 inch screen is beyond me.

What's so bad with a 24 inch screen? Maybe you sit very close to it like you do with a PC moniter. I game on my PS3 on a 24 inch screen (but I dream of 55 inches LED/plasma).

It's a good deal,if your into 3D.

its £410 in the UK on amazon, thats like $660 US, thats why it wont sell in the UK, more than double the price, fire sale or not.

Im in the market for a 3d monitor as well, might hold of see if it gets price slashed here. Apart from the LG one we have at work its hard to find reliable info on good 3D monitors, the playstation one got a great write up from Eurogamer.

I am always put off the TV by its size. I currently have a 42 inch, and I could drop too a 32 maybe, but not 24.

Plus I read recently that the TV itself is highly unreliable and doesnt last very long; though that could be a minority, I would certain;y investigate it more before I brought one

The best way to find out if you can trust somebody is to trust them.

I guess the price is right. It could be an impulse buy for me if it wasn't so small. A few things to consider (it's list time!!):

-Are there going to be other games that support the 2 player/one screen mode? The games that support it so far aren't games I want to play.

-Does it support 3D on PC? I have a 3D LED HDTV and it works great with my satellite, consoles, and 3D Blu Rays. It does not support 3D in any shape or form with the connected PC. That was a big let down.

-How many inputs does it have? If you're going to connect multiple devices, it's going to need more than a couple HDMI jacks. Personally, I need at least three ports, component, RGB, etc. I have a LOT of devices that I switch between.

-That's it. It's a 3D HDTV. It doesn't need anything else going for it. It's a little small but I'm sure it has great picture quality.

The only thing I can't figure out on the google is whether or not it works well with pc. I've heard there are several different kinds of PC 3D and not all of them work. I've heard that 3D Vision is one of the best, but I can't find a solidly put together list detailing the pros and cons or which ones work with which games, videos, etc.
