Update

G4TechTV pays tribute to fallen Nintendo fan JoelCool7. His walls of text were an inspiration for us all. Nintendo is taking a minute of silence during today's press events after the shocking news that the 23 year old gamer was found comprise with a nun-chuck and Wiimote around his neck and the text message Nintendooooooooooooo!!!!!!!.......... half written to Reggie Nintendo of America President. As per his Wills request his ashes will be buried under a tree planted in his memory on Nintendo of Canada's Richmond Campus.
To show our support we will finish this tribute in true JoelCool fashion suddenly the screen shows a massive one minute long wall of text going down the screen. Then as the video closes Adam Sessler makes a joke about me not being a real journalist just some crack head Nintendo fan wanting attention before Miss Webb goes on a rant about how sick Nintendo fan boys are!!

lol I dunno could happen I mean tons of celebrities and companies have done tributes to loyal fans who kill themselves.

***** Disclaimer, I was joking hypothetically I would never kill myself over a dissapointing Nintendo conference. Now on the other hand I might die of natural causes brought on by the severe trauma of WiiMusic2. being the flagship title.

Those things will definitely not happen, but most importantly they don't need to happen for Wii U to be successful anyway.

Very good news, Christmas will be simply amazing...

All right, let's see here:

- 2D Mario
- Pikmin 3
- Wii Sports 3
- Wii Fit 3
- Wii Play 3
- Wii Music 2 (if the rumors are to go by)
- New Donkey Kong title?
- F-Zero U (although recent words from Miyamoto actually suggests otherwise)
- Lots of titles that I've forgotten

On top of that:

- Shit-ton of third party titles
- An app-store packed with mini games and accessories
- Built in titles (like Face Raiders and U Draw kind of games)
- Re-releasing Gamecube titles (some may even be enhanced with the new controller or even online capabilities! ...even though the current Virtual Console's suggests otherwise...)


And perhaps the biggest unannounced surprise - Haptec technology

I think we will see many third party games. Mostly ports of PCPS360 but some exclusive too.

And we will see some big First-Party games.

Perhaps it could be the biggest launch in console history.

The launch lineup is looking to be pretty damn good or at least 1000 times better than the 3DS launch lineup. I believe Nintendo has learned a little from their previous mistakes this past generation and with the 3DS launch. Simply showing my friends my 3DS with the 20+ download games on it from the eshop makes most of them amazed. I expect similar results showing off Nintendo's retail and downloadable games on the Wii U. Nintendo has been cranking out amazing new ips on the eshop lately.

Nice to hear. Maybe we'll hear some stuff in the next hour or so? But I expect the majority will come during E3...

I hate this time of year!
The hype is through the roof, and E3 is still MONTHS away....
