Yes. No.
Are they annoying to deal with and do they always seem to have the worst employees? Yes. So, yes.
Are there other places to shop at (even though they might only be a tiny but better?) Yes. Then, no.

Thats some hilarious stuff!
The Employees over here also want you to buy that weird protection Plan, but once i said no, 'twas fine.
But selling a PS2 cooling system to prevent it from catching fire? Thats awesomely amazing and stupid at the same time. XD

You are just luckly they are a bunch of male nerds trying to sell you stuff.. we all know it it was a girl with twinkely eyes asking you to buy 2 pounds of poop with that new 3DS game you would have done it no matter what..
ot: we had a member here forevercloud3000 and if he's like the average employee of gamestop the hate is justified... I remember this thread of him http://gamrconnect.vgchartz.com/thread.php?id=35589&page=1 Where he says that Gamestop allows employees to borrow new games but they must come back in PERFECT condition otherwise they couldn't classify them as new..

To be honest, whenever I go to a Gamestop and a hot girl is working there, I ignore her. It's like she's a movie star or something. Guys are all over her laughing at everything she says and trying to be cool. Watching from the outside, I feel embarrassed for them. I try to be the opposite of everybody else. If nobody is giving a girl attention, I do that (or at least I used to). If everybody is giving her attention, I play it cool. If it seems like a normal situation, I used to try to be creative and go from there. Ignore me. I'm just an old guy reminiscing......

LMFAO! Not this time. It's funny because we went out to dinner a couple of hours ago and the place we went was near Georgia Southern University college campus. I was afraid to even look up because hot girls were in every direction and all my gf did was look at me to see where I was looking!

In a way. But going to a retail store is a much more immediate solution for many of us. When I buy from Amazon, I go crazy waiting for my item to arrive. I bought The Adventures of Tin Tin on 3D Blu Ray yesterday (can't find that damn movie in 3D anywhere!) and it is supposed to come sometime between April 20th and May 7th. Same thing when it comes to selling. A few bucks or store credit in hand now or a lot more or possibly nothing, later?

I have to admit, perhaps I am a bit biased towards Amazon myself because everything I buy from there is something I've pre-ordered, so I know that 1-2 days after release I'll have it. (Have to order from uk amazon because there is no nl one)
Another reason probably is that I hate physically shopping.
That's a rather wide gap for delivery date for tin-tin though, it's a pretty new movie, so that is indeed a shame on their part, I agree.

I'm a bit of an Amazon fan, myself. A few times, I've ordered something and it's arrived way before the first projected date. A few times, I've ordered something because it would say "Order now and have it by ______" but when I order it arrives a few days later. I don't really mind that. I always buy new games myself because (I'm a victim of corporate brain washing) I feel like I HAVE to have at least one Achievement/Trophy for that game on launch day. One thing about Amazon, though. I always recieve my item in the condition they promise--and sometimes, even better. I've ordered used games and recieved new ones. I oredered a cheap soundbar for my TV and recieved one much bigger and better than the one I expected. Nothing wrong with going with those guys if you don't mind waiting a little bit.
