He's right. Japanese games this gen have been pretty damn average. Resi 5, lost planet, final fantasy, devil may cry to name a few games which are pretty damn poor. Where they should have been great.

Fish is right. Oh and fez is awesome better than any Japanese game this gen.

I did not see the content of Fish's statement as the problem, it was purely down to the way he conducted himself.

You do not tear a guy (and his country) to pieces after he has praised you and then asked a question. It's unprofessional and extremely childish.

So whilst what he said may have some validity to it, it doesn't justify acting like a dick.

Western games are so brilliant.

Call of Duty is the same game Yearly. Skyrim didn't work. Mass Effect 3 needs a new ending. Warcraft is pandering to the Eastern market. 75% of Western games being shooters. Microsoft pumping out Halo, Forza and Fable every Year.

Western videogame development is as stagnant and dull as the Japanese scene.
