Pokemonbrawlvg said: My prediction was right? I said it wouldn't sell 2 million in April and thanks to the adjustments it became true. This was actually one thing I wish I was wrong about. http://gamrconnect.vgchartz.com/post.php?id=4516609 |
Yeah the latest adjustments did no favors for the Vita. Hopefully when official Sony numbers post (I hear they are the last ones to release the official info and haven't yet) things look a little better, but having less than 2 million by April looks certain. I hope you are right about April being its worst month. May does look promising, Mortal Kombat is already receiving praise as being better than its home console big brother and Resistance Burning Skies being the online multiplayer shooter should turn a few heads. E3 is where things will pick up big time, much more than my charts are showing using hardware averages. Just about every hardware should benefit from E3 except for the Wii, but that's what Wii U is for right?
3 million in June would require 140,000 a week starting now, even with more titles coming E3 will be the deciding factor, but maybe that won't garner enough sales until the announced games actually release. My chart shows 3 million won't happen till August, but I expect July no later. The majority of Vita sales will happen this holiday, when more software is available, bigger titles, and bundles.
Before the PS3 everyone was nice to me :(
