Anyone know what to do when Panne's beaststone breaks? I can't find a replacement in any of the shops. Should I just change her class at this point to something that uses normal items?

you can buy one later in a shop, i think maybe ch 11 or 12 or 13! Even the dragonstone

Ah, ok thanks. I'm still in chapter 10.

Some bosses/enemies drop them as well.  Like I think the boss of chapter 10.

Actual game time is over 30 hours and I just beat chapter 13. I look back at those reeking boxes I sold before I realized how much fun those random reeking battles would become as I got used to the gameplay that comes with pairing up and higher level characters.

Someone care to fill me in on what "reeking boxes" are?

From the item description (don't have the money to buy them ) they summon Risen to the World Map, creating skirmishes.

Monster Hunter: pissing me off since 2010.

Thanks!  Can't wait to get the game myself (didn't get a chance on day 1, and it's been out of stock since).  Wonder if Kmart will get it in tomorrow as suggested by their inventory page.

Well switched to Hard mode now.

Didn't beat normal mode, but got far enough that got hang of most everyone and the components and what not.

Also kind of felt I needed too. Had kind of abused the DLC level and most of my guys were on their second seal or master seal when only on chapter 13 or so. So essentially everyone was lvl 25+ fighting lvl 15 guys. Could basically solo it with everyone except for obvious reasons of Bow vs. Pegasus or something like that.

Only did first chapter so far, played enough today so switching over to play some xenoblade for a while. But wow the Hard is scary. Too many opponents seem to have a decent Crit %. I know only 5% isn't high, but I've gotten enough crits at 2% to be wary.

It helps big time pair'ing up though in ch. 1. Didn't know about that first time playing and was nervous maybe you couldnt' even do it until tutorials told you, but nope it lets you.

Yeah seems to be what people have been saying. Can't believe there's two, much more difficult difficulties to come after you've completed the game as well!

I'm kind of in the same boat. I just completed chapter 10 and I already have 3 characters that have used seals and the rest of my regulars are level 16+. The last couple of battles I did were far too simple. Not a single character on my team dipped below 85% health, and it may have not even been that low. I've barely touched DLC either. I only did 1 fight.

I think I might need to bump it up to hard now that I know exactly what I am doing as well. To be honest, Im surprised at how many people I've seen saying that it's a difficult game even on normal. If it should be difficult for anyone it would be me as this is my first FE game, but I've been on cruise control so far.

Mind you I researched the shit out of the game before beginning to play so I knew exactly which characters to use, and who to pair them with, etc.

On Chapter 14, Hard/Classic, and haven't abused the DLC.  So far I'am:

Great Lord Chrom (5) x Valkyrie Maribelle (9)

Magic Grandmaster MU (6) x Sorcerer Tharja (7)

Paladin Sully (9) x Warrior Vaike (8)  (This pair destroys everything)

Assassin Gaius (6) x Dancer Olivia (11)

Just got Kjelle (holy shit are her stats beast, probably from her dad) and gonna get Inigo as well and have them pair up.

Having a blast so far, can't wait for Lunatic mode.

I'm still freaking out on how good chapter 10 was.

http://gamrconnect.vgchartz.com/profile/92109/nintendopie/ Nintendopie  Was obviously right and I was obviously wrong. I will forever be a lesser being than them. (6/16/13)

Im destroying with Donnel! That village kid from the 1st sidequest ch! He's by far my best character
