You lucky people!!!

I preordered my copy at my gamestop (called EBgames here in canada) and these morons sold my copy to some clown. They called other stores around town to see if they could find me a copy, they found 1 and asked that store to reserve it for me. Now I have to get to a gamestop all across town to get my copy tomorow.

stop bragging, at least you get a copy *sigh*

Woo, TY for that! My first 3DS game so I've been quitting whenever doing something stupid. Incredibly annoying when I screw up when the battle is just about over - I decide to heal for a bit more XP, then the healer gets 2-shot (didn't know what low speed meant, duy...)
Playing on hard, my main hero got absurdly powerful, passed the knight dude in just a few battles (though I keep the knight in the back). That +50% pair xp bonus is OP

Also does the little adventure or map that you do to get said DLC member kind of explain their story or character somewhat. I don't know every single fire emblem games story. Only beat like 3 of them and played a couple others partway. So be kind of nice to get a sort of summary of their story during the DLC or spotpass or whatever. |
I have a feeling it will have no continuity with the story; bar the fact that there's a gate which is introducing monsters and characters from other worlds (and somewhere else). I'd say try the Marth DLC; if you don't like it it's free so you haven't lost anything.
The SpotPass chapters, on the other hand, are intergrated into the main story.

I don't know if you'll be saying it's OP later on in the game when you pretty much need it to survive...

Welcome to Fire Emblem lol. |
For some reason I have 300's line, this is Sparta in my head when I read that.
Am I the only one that thinks the character model fits well if the game even though they don't have feet? I mean, whenever I see a character, it just doesn't bother me.
Anyway, I'm enjoying this game a lot more than I thought. This is probably the best SRPG I have ever played. No lie. It's so addicting and fun to play, plus there's a lot to do. There's a fair amount of challenge as well even if I'm on Normal. I think if I had played this game on Hard, I would've tore my hair out. I'll do a second playthrough after I finished this one (this game is begging for me to).
Currently on Chapter 8 with nearly 7 hours locked in.

They look to have pig feet to me... but it is a decent sacrifice given Intelligent Systems really doesn't do the full polygon gaming thing often.
Honestly, this is probably their best game that actually featured polygons as the GC and Wii Fire Emblems weren't that great graphically and what can you say about their N64 to GC game Cubivore. Based on everything, I think they made a concious decision to go for a doll like look because this would be on the smaller 3DS screens and combat would be brief.
Meanwhile, I am pissed about this shipping delay because I actually carved out time in my schedule for FE breaks this week to try to advance deep into the game. That is all shot to hell now.
