So...in Side Quest 2 (the one with Anna), is there any problem if Anna dies? Seems tricky to reach her in time...

There is no problem if she dies. You can't recruit her til paralogue 4 anyway

But if she dies, she comes back in that Paralogue right? The chapter isnt hard on the level Im at, its getting to her and the village in time...

The only problem with her dying is that you won't get a reward, but you can still recruit her later on.

Hmm, is the reward worth it? I would just pair up Sumia and say Kellam to plow through to save her, but theres a lot of archers she doesnt kill for some reason.

I don't really remember what the reward is I'm thinking it is gold.

Whatever it is probably isn't worth the trouble as I remember on my first run playing that map four times over to keep her alive in hopes that she was recruitable then being majorly disappointed afterwards.

Here are a couple greivences I have with this game, that if the next game is similar that they need to fix, or hopefully change.

1. Paired up unit can't heal the person paired up with. For example say I have Chrom and Lissa paired up. The start of my turn there are no enemies near, so I figure might as well heal Chrom. BUT Lissa is paired up with him. Why can't I go "switch", then click on "heal" and heal Chrom. Why do I have to "seperate" them, or "transfer" her over to someone else in order for her to heal. Healing is teh same as attacking, so its not like I could abuse it by having her heal and then Chrom attack the same turn.

2. I liked the Taguel from previous games better. I like how you could transform into them when not fighting and thus gain further movement, ect.

3. WTF why get rid of Light magic? You have clerics, preist, monks, ect. why can't they do light. There is still dark magic. Why not light?

4. Better defense maps. Can only think of one defense map and that is like ch 6 or something when the attempt on Emmeryns life it going on. The rest it don't matter if your on the offensive or "defensive" you are always on the "offensive" There are a few times you are ambushed, yet it still ends up the same as every other map. You send your troops out on attack. they shoudl be where you have to set up a defensive spot, find high ground, tress, something, ect and defend against waves of enemies. Meanwhile to make them a challenge, have some theif run around getting stuff that you would miss while defending.

I went to Media Markt and Game mania here in the Netherlands and they both had no Fire emblems left. I'm glad i ordered mine in time.
They did have the 3DS special edition though.

What's that about spotpass characters? More importantly, when are they going to be available? I've looked up the number of paralogues and some of them are apparently only unlocked via spotpass. Is that right? That would mean I have to wait a month or two until I can play them all?

It'll almost certainly be more than two months. We still don't have all of them here, for example (We're missing at least one). Additionally, ALL of the spotpass characters' chapters are only playable after you've beaten the penultimate chapter, so aside from the last battle, DLC, and any Paralogues you haven't done yet, you won't get much chance to use any of them.

Pair up Sumia with Chrom/Frederick/other strong unit (not Kellam: need mobility), have Sumia transport the fighter across the river, then switch to the fighter. Most of the enemy units in the area will target Anna over you, and Anna can hold her own for a turn or three. Worst comes to worse, you can probably use a Rescue Staff, although that'd sacrifice the village.

So another question! For those of you who've streetpassed before, how does the AI work? Specifically, if they can attack, will they attack no matter what? That's how it is normally so I'm assuming the case is the same, but just want to be sure. If they will attack even if it's suicide, then I guess there's no point in having any Falcon Knights with their staves in the streetpass version of my all flying team. With their high mobility, they'll always be in attack range so they wont have a chance to use staves. Guess I'll have nothing but Dark Fliers then, which is cewl as I can call my team "Dark Skies." :)

I've seen them retreat and heal, or focus on healing, before.
