increases your potential max stats by 10.

So if Chroms max stats while Great Lord are 80/40/40/40/40/40/40/40

They become 80/50/50/50/50/50/50/50

I dont' think it affects health.  I could be wrong.  Also it doesn't raise them by 10 like a +2 skill thing does.  You have to gain those skills by leveling with that skill equiped.  So figured another 40 levels to get the 10 stats.   You know second sealing twice.

On another note, YEAH BABY LUNATIC MODE IS BEATEN.

Did you bum rush after all, or did you take it slow and clear out the bulk of the foes first

Split the force into 2.  Half dealt with the foes from the bottim, the other from the top.

So i guess I still tanked it.

Thaja/Avatar attacked the boss starting turn 3 but Thaja was only doing like 6 damage (Nosferatu) on the first hit and 22 after the second with Vengeance and Avatar doing about the same as her first attack (Thoron).  This repeated as them upper team cleared out the foes surronding him for the next 2 turns.   During this a Sage was healing him like to full each round anyhow, tho Indigo/Noire took care of him the turn before I finished the final boss off. Then I switched to Goetia which was still only doing 12 damage the first hit.  I got a lucky Vengeance crit ( was like 60 something damage) after having taken 43 damage from the final boss procin Ignis (which is like almost every attack).

You should use the Book of Naga to attack

Where does one get that?

from the infinite regalia dlc

Japan got it in the bonus box it looks like at some point, so maybe we will too soon

I believe its the only tome that is effective against dragons and thus why I brought it up.  Otherwise, would a wyrmslayer be better?  It is only 8  might, but effective against dragons.  What does multiply by 3 then?  And then put it into the forge as well and you would be more effective with a sword than with thoron

No dlc needed for wyrmslayer

Yeah I don't have the Golden pack DLC.  But yeah my method was fine, its just I got a crit so it went faster. ;p

You are right about health.

Damn this Wellspring of Truth map is going to take a minute to formulate a strategy for. I tried bum rushing them with a few of my lower level units and my main healer Lissa but my Lissa is a beast and since I didn't use all the spots there were like two of them and they killed Chrom and half my team in 3 turns of me trying to just protect Aversa. I am guessing I will need to go for the strategy of weaker classes because I even removing the more dangerous skills I just couldn't beat them.

Damn you Ninty! You keep stealing my money.

Especially if you've maxed out your characters. ;p

Luckly that is not my case.

Wellspring of Truth, or as I like to call it: ajioafwaw agiohi;ofioi *slams head against keyboard*

Almost impossible to beat if you have maxed out units. My own units weren't the issue, it's just that Aversa kept becoming a target for my (very annoying) doppelgangers.

So after about 10 failed rounds I used Avatar/Chrom and the rest were the (unused until now) Einherjar chracters. And let my duo take care of everyone.

Success!

I just bought some Brave weapons for my heavy hitters, paired 'em up with someone appropriate, weakened their ("their"?) bruisers with arrows and magic, and let my brawlers go to town. There was one worrying moment when Kjelle dropped to three HP (oh right, her Resistance blows, huh?), but other than that I didn't really have any problems.
