I'm currently wasting time at work (justified because they gave me a lot of new info to think over today) trying to work out a better set of combos for raising the children. I'm thinking Male Avatar should marry Sully, making Morgan F into a cavalier (since none of the other children are one naturally), but then what should Male Avatar's skills be to boost Kjelle? Another knight-like tank, perhaps...

Morgan can be any class, just like the Avatar.

But he starts as whatever his non-avatar parent was, no? Mine was fathered by Virion.

Monster Hunter: pissing me off since 2010.

That's true. You could just immediately second-seal him/her into the desired base class, though.

Made it past Chapter 13 (which was very annoying).

But boy do like these new recruits! Nothing beats having the Joker and the Terminator on my side. :D And I chocked up a little (read: a lot) at the end...

Jason Bourne and his merry band are unstoppable. As long as I have Chrom/Sumia paired up, everything seems to die.

Remind me to play on Hard next time.

Fire Emblem Awakening launched on Feb. 4, exclusively on Nintendo 3DS and Nintendo 3DS XL, but bonus content keeps the game play going strong. Fans will continue to look forward to and receive free game content via SpotPass all the way through spring. This new SpotPass content is different from the downloadable content that is currently available through the game's Outrealm Gate. The free SpotPass map available today is called "A Hard Miracle," and follows the story of Fire Emblem Awakening main character Chrom as he encounters a mysterious woman and sets off on a journey with her to rescue a group of kidnapped villagers.

During the next few weeks, more maps will become available through the SpotPass feature. These include "Ghost of Blade" on March 28, a haunted tale about a ghost and the ultimate sacrifice; "The Wellspring of Trust" on April 11, a map full of challenging enemies; and "The Radiant Hero" on April 25, which takes place on an isolated island as Chrom and his allies search for a legendary hero.

SpotPass is a built-in Nintendo 3DS feature that allows content to be automatically downloaded to a Nintendo 3DS hand-held system through wireless Internet access points. To receive content in Fire Emblem Awakening, users must opt in to receiving content from SpotPass. To check if SpotPass is on, open the main menu in the game by pressing the X button, then select "Wireless," then "SpotPass."

When SpotPass data is downloaded to the Nintendo 3DS system, users will receive a notification message. After receiving this message, open the main menu in the game once more, then select "Wireless," "Bonus Box" and "Update Now." The SpotPass maps can be found under "Bonus Maps."

I got Donnel to level 10 but he didn't acquire a new skill like every other character who hits this benchmark. Is that how it is with Donnel or perhaps a glitch?

Villagers, Dancers, Taguels, and Manaketes are all different from the other classes. Instead of having a cap at level 20, they finish at level 30. So unlike other base-type units (who earn their skills at 1 and 10), these guys will learn their skills at 1 and 15.

But Donnel is such a pro it doesn't make a huge difference anyway.

Indeed.

Trying to decide whether to turn him or Morgan into a Dreadfighter. Still mulling it over...

Is that not what they've called Demon Fighter over here?

Also, I look forward to Elincia's DLC. The Bride concept always intrigued me.
