I Think Sony got sick of their announcements getting leaked prior to E3, so they decidee to leak it themselves. I remember one year all their exclusives were announced by Sony pre-E3.

If this is a Vita game, I will kill somebody.

I really want this to be a proper, full God of War IV for PS3, because as much as I adored God of War III, the ending left a great deal to be desired. It didn't feel like the end of the story, and I'm not buying a PS Vita just to see the real ending.

I think the series has a fantastic story. This would most likely ruin it imo.

Your post is a fantastic example of why I think it's bad for game companies to push the "console experience" games onto portable systems. The two types of platforms thrive off a different set of game styles.

 

Anyways, I hope this is God of War they're teasing, and I hope it comes out on the PS3. I'd love to see a new direction for the series (much like Assassin's Creed jumping a few hundred years forward in time).

The Uncharted thing was basically a competition to promote Uncharted. You could win a PSVita and Uncharted Golden Abyss if you were lucky.

Why not a new trilogy with something else in mind. We don't really know at this point. It could still star Kratos & Greek mythology, or not. Either way: Its God of War and we wantz it >:0. Halo was supposed to be a trilogy too, and now there will be a new trilogy. Artistic integrity my ass xD

Sure. I guess I was just hoping for a heavenly sword 2 :P I know, foolish.. But if anyone were to continue that series out of ninja theory, it would have to be santa monica.

@Pezus Norse mythology is awesome. I've long been pondering making a game set there. :P with me being danish it makes sense. Unfortunately I don't have 100 people I can tell to work on it.
