I don't know why they would delay it again but I have this feeling that they will and that everyone will be really upset.

Funny you seem to accept such attitude while it's one of few reasons you hate Sony for... When company starts to believe people need it more than it needs people it is always a bad sign. Sony pays for it right now.

I don't understand at all how that is smart. I think it would be stupid for them to delay their biggest game for that reason, it would piss off way too many people. You seem to underestimate the amount of people that would get pissed about another delay.

 

Hate to say it but the folks who would be pissed would not go out and cancel their pre-orders =P It would suck, many would cry, and it would be sad...but nobody waiting for Feb 10th wouldn't still be there Mar 1st.

 

I just hope to Olimar that they don't delay again @@

You know Kber, with Sony, the delay is sometimes well over six months. If i remember correctly MGS4 was a 2007 title at first, where is it now? With Nintendo....hell they delay the games too, but not by such a great deal of time.

 No there is a difference, they are not forcing something onto the customers or trying to raise prices, no they are merely positioning the product where it can net them the largest sales, all companies do that.  its the reason why copmanies do staggered launches, they could easily launch in every market at once, yet they don't want to split supply or add in more translators etc.  tjis is different than adding in Blu-ray into what you believe is a cpative audience, since one is being forced, you have to buy the blu-ray drive if you want PS3, while the other is not, you don't have to buy SSBB, its a choice.

Perhaps the request is so high they are forced to release in different dates, probably:

Japan:  January 24th

USA: February 10th

EU: February ?

Canada: March 1st

Iowa: When it  thaw out

If Canada is March 1st then US will be March 1st too, there is no reason to release the game on two seperate dates for US/ Canada.
