While I'm sure there are a ton of Sony fans that will get defensive for saying this, with how many studios Sony has that produce games few people buy, Sony could eliminate between 1/3 and 1/2 of their developers and almost no one would notice. I don't think this would be a good approach, but I would suggest that Sony should probably look at consolidating as many of these studios as they can to try to concentrate talent and (hopefully) start producing games people care about.

This, they should just focus on their best performers, guerilla, ND, MM etc and then they can support them with better resources and market fewer games for higher sales. 20 games selling 1.5 million (30 million) vs 8 games selling 5 million each (40 million). with the latter costing a lot less.

It would be a bold move, but one i doubt Sony management would make.
