This is our list, but what do YOU want to see?

So it seems that people want another one, so that is always good news. Means this game did not piss fans off too much.

I don't think they can fix Ninja Gaiden 3 for the Wii U because they changed from first two games being multiple weapons and user-choice and smart enemies requiring strategic combat to a single weapon game.

The biggest complain in the reviews for 3rd game unanimously was repetitive tedious gameplay that is not challenging.

The biggest praise in any review for past games was challenge and variety of weapons/enemies.

The biggest complain of past games being camera and non-sense story still exist in 3rd game. So basically instead of fixing the thing people didn't like in the past games, they broke the core strength of the past games.

Even on the Sigma editions, what Team Ninja added without Itagaki as game director was more variety by adding new character chapters, weapons, challenge arenas where different combination of enemies mixed in for unique challenges. I don't know why they didn't realize why it worked and went ahead and broke it thinking like newb developers that by tieing story to weapon and making it single weapon they would somehow improve the overall game.

The Wii U version of the game can save the series IF

1. They include the various things like Weapons DLC for free on the disc
2. They fix technical issues like the camera and framerate
3. The game is presented with 8th gen graphics
4. There are not too many other hardcore games at the Wii U's launch
5. The entire trilogy comes on the disc

So, in short, the series is probably dead.

probably is,after looking at those numbers.

Ninja Gaiden 3 is really great. I really dont know what game the reviewers were playing. When I began playing, I was like....WTF?!!!?!?! are those sites talking about.

That is why I dont give a damn about reviews. If the trailers and gameplay videos are really good, I will buy the game, just like I did with Shadows of the Damned, NeverDead, God Hand, and many other games.

You're a man after my own heart.  Play what you like, reviewers be damned! I'm currently having a blast with Blades of Time.  It's not a game I'd recommend to others but I can't stop playing it.  It probably has a meta score of 3/10 or something.

I agree with Heavenly_King and d21lewis

The reviews don't really determine whether you would enjoy the game on personal level because what we enjoy varies. Going by the genre/theme and gameplay videos is a good way to gauge how much you might like a game. Best option is to try a demo if one is available although sometimes demos are very poor compared to actual game or demo's are far better than actual game.

Most recently, I played Unit 13 (PS-Vita) which got 7/10 type reviews, but I really enjoyed it. Easily an 8/10 game for me which is good enough for my gaming time. I liked the short replayable missions (36), the motivation to replay those missions trying to get 5-star ranks, and to try those same missions in co-op which works at all hours of the day in terms of some random person quickly joining your hosted game if you cant coordinate friends to play - plus those random players are all mature and good partners as the game awards teamwork bonuses. Furthermore, each "operative" would level up and gain access to more weapons and perks including team bonuses so there is some reward and also motivation for trying out the different characters and play styles regardless of mission type (covert, action, deadline, etc). Lastly the game had Near functionality to share Intel to be able to gain access to HVT missions. I got 160+ stars via the single player to take on 8/9 HVT missions, but without the Near feature, I would not have gotten 180 stars needed to take on SCORPION. So this was a great feature where someone else on my friend list having done that mission successfully allowed me to also do it. So it has a ton of features and great gameplay for a launch title. I only expect things to get better on PS-Vita as is the norm with any new console.

As long as it makes money, it will never end.

Faster, More Intense Battles – Improved enemy AI, the return of dismemberment, as well as new enemy types and battle areas have been added for greater variety in battles and increased replay value.

Pretty good, but not enough

lol bit of a necro :P

I'm gonna say its dead now, as I don't know if anyone noticed, but NG3 for WiiU has Nintendo listed as publisher, no one else must have faith in the game :/
