Wow I still cherish my copy of persona 3 fes, it is my pride and joy. This is great news though, I really hope more people get to experience persona.

I prefer it.
However there is some content that's exclusive in the portable.
The portable version has the option to play as a female protagonist instead of male, which affects the social links. And certain events in the main story that are different from a girls perspective. And there's some other tweaks that makes the gameplay a little better.

There's not really a definitive version of Persona 3 which is unfortunate. I prefer FES.
But, there's exclusive content in the Portable one, and in the FES one. There's not a version with everything :-/.
