Whosoever was the waste of human life and precious resources that designed the first fight against Xord should have their organs ripped out slowly, making sure that he/she stays alive as long as possible while their body is being eviscerated, then when their pathetic life finally gives out, have their head smashed into a bloody pulp with a sledgehammer and every trace of their miserable existence wiped from the planet forever.

Hehe.  Yeah, I didn't like that fight either, but the worst is yet to come.  Speaking of which, I had to turn off the game yesterday because I was so frustrated with my current battle.  :(

Unless you're talking about Lorithia, then I can't think of a more frustrating battle, and even that is easy if you kill the nebulae first!

That's a bit...extreme...

All you have to do is get a chain attack, break then topple and attack once. Simples.

I agree it's not the nicest fight...but, hey, at least you don't have to do one like it again!

Right, the first part of that is the hardest, given that someone in my party is mowed down very quickly (usually either Sharla or Shulk, depending on whether i'm using one or the other). Although i did notice that you can game the system with quick travel, that the CA meter stays where it is, so likely i'll just try to invoke that deliberately.

What's your level? I was 28 so had 0 issues whatsoever.

My brother was 23, and struggled, so he just went back up a level or two, killed a few mechon, filled up the CA gauge (as you said), and simply toppled it. Over in about 30 seconds.

The order should be Shulk-Reyn-Sharla, so Sharla can do some damage at the end of the attack.

I'm 24 or 25, but recently juiced up all of my arts by burning through most of my accumulated art-points. I should be right on the curve.

My idea sounds right: quick-travel to a higher area of the pit, kill some weaker mechon to get the guage up, dash back down before the meter goes down too much, kill some of Xord's mechon, then wipe that fuckface from the face of this planet

Yes...wipe off the planet...

*ahem*

Anyway, there's Mechon down there for that exact purpose, you know. It's just easier to do so where there's no boss threat. Give it a go, and if it still doesn't work then I'm afraid the only thing to do is level up.

Have you been linking skill BTW? The most crucial one at this point would have to be the Armour equip OK skills (the stars). If you can get Sharla especially into heavy armour then you should have no reason why she'd die immediately.

I have no idea what you're talking about... Likely one of the menus i still have never looked at

Monster Hunter: pissing me off since 2010.

I have been really enjoying Xenoblade and can't wait for when I come back to Sweden within 2 1/2 weeks. When I come back I will literally play the game so much.

Besides what is written above, can anyone tell me if Heart to Hearts are intressting, I have done just two or three and one of them was pretty intressting, but the other two was meh. I have just recently disvored that affinity is pretty good to have, so I'm just trying to max out Reyn-Riki, Reyn-Dunban and Riki-Dunban.

You know the "Arts and Skills" option in the menu (the one which looks like the Monado crossed with another sword)? Open up the "Skills" page there, where everyone has 3 skills which you can level up with SP automatically. Press - to open skill links, and you can spend those affinity coins you've been building up there. It allows you to basically take any skill from one character to another (e.g. Heavy armour equip, extra exp., strength up etc.). Very useful, almost required, later on, so it's best to get your head around it early!

Glad to hear you're enjoying it!

As for H2H, they aren't needed, but some are funny ("No boys allowed"), some are cute ("Melia's Obsession"), some add to the story ("Remembering Mumkhar"), and some are...something else. No need to do it, but it's nice to.
