Whosoever was the waste of human life and precious resources that designed the first fight against Xord should have their organs ripped out slowly, making sure that he/she stays alive as long as possible while their body is being eviscerated, then when their pathetic life finally gives out, have their head smashed into a bloody pulp with a sledgehammer and every trace of their miserable existence wiped from the planet forever.

That's a bit...extreme...

All you have to do is get a chain attack, break then topple and attack once. Simples.

I agree it's not the nicest fight...but, hey, at least you don't have to do one like it again!

Right, the first part of that is the hardest, given that someone in my party is mowed down very quickly (usually either Sharla or Shulk, depending on whether i'm using one or the other). Although i did notice that you can game the system with quick travel, that the CA meter stays where it is, so likely i'll just try to invoke that deliberately.

What's your level? I was 28 so had 0 issues whatsoever.

My brother was 23, and struggled, so he just went back up a level or two, killed a few mechon, filled up the CA gauge (as you said), and simply toppled it. Over in about 30 seconds.

The order should be Shulk-Reyn-Sharla, so Sharla can do some damage at the end of the attack.

I'm 24 or 25, but recently juiced up all of my arts by burning through most of my accumulated art-points. I should be right on the curve.

My idea sounds right: quick-travel to a higher area of the pit, kill some weaker mechon to get the guage up, dash back down before the meter goes down too much, kill some of Xord's mechon, then wipe that fuckface from the face of this planet
