metallicube, I can feel your pain. The combo of work, grad school, and having to decide whether or not to take the PhD qualifying exam this semester (nope) has caused me to be away from Heropon and friends for the past week. I need some serious Heroponning tonight.

You'd better! But I agree. I've been doing less that I'd like on the game due to exams and revision and stuff, but priorities I suppose :/

Where are you in the game anyway?

I am in Sword Valley, before Gallahad Fortress. Been there for a while, I stopped doing a lot of side quests because I felt over leveled, and now I find myself under leveled.

This past week I had to do Naval Aircraft Crash Survival Swim training, so until today all of my time was shot.

For those not in the know, that stuff is pretty intense, like only the Heropon would make it through. Challenging, but honestly fun for me. I love being in the water, so some of the more challenging things were fun for me, I will say this though, escaping from a downed helicopter that is under water and flipped over is very dissorienting and hectic. I have more respect than ever for those who serve in the Military.

...

Are you the Heropon?

Also, that's quite common for people, something which happened with me. I was well overlevelled before that area, but then was at the right level for the next few areas and under by the end of the game...

I am at the area after visiting Valak, I don't remember the name of that area, but will soon when I'll start to play the game during the summer, It has been about three months since my last time playing the game. Which level is recomended to be at the area I am in now?

The area you mean is Sword Valley. It's best to be around 50 at least, and 52 is probably prefered (I was 55).

It's a nice, short area. Just be sure to buy the weapons from Dickson when you see him near the entrance to the area. They may be weak, but they have the same effect as the Monado!

I just entered the High Entia Tomb. I reckon I have a fair bit of game left to play given that the story seems to really be going in another direction... am I right?

I think that you are around the 40% mark. It will get better after that area. What I did not like about it was the boss, I thought it was very boring.

That's 35-40% playthrough, depending on your quest count. I believe halfway is entering the second area off Makna at level 46ish (you should be at 39-41ish at your point). But yes, the story really kicks off in an area not far away. You'll likely have seen it in the big area you're in ;) I'd think about Colony 6. You should be able to get everything Lv. 3 at this point or very soon, so move people in if you haven't!
