SPECTRE was a good movie but not as good as Skyfall. You really can't beat watching Judi Dench's M dying.

Haven't watched that new Man of Steel film, is it any good?, because I got gifted it from a relative during Xmas and I just remembered I have yet to watch it.

Mankind, in its arrogance and self-delusion, must believe they are the mirrors to God in both their image and their power. If something shatters that mirror, then it must be totally destroyed.

Man of Steel from a couple years ago?

It is decent. Better than the Superman before it!

Oh yeah it came out in 2013 lol, I totally missed how long it's been XD.

As long as it's better than the previous one then it's good enough for me.

I watched the Martian 8/10
It started with nonsense, ended with nonsense, but the middle was pretty good. Well apart from the selective gravity and atmosphere. Btw how come he didn't think of making an SOS signal that can be seen by satellite. That's one of the first rules of survival. Oh well, better not get started on the plot holes. The human element was good.

I also watched Mr Robot again, this time with the wife. She was hooked too, but also very annoyed by it. And yet it all fit on a second viewing. Now the big question is who is knocking on the door at the end. And what is Whiterose's plan. Seems a bit of an elaborate manipulation to get his hands on a few coltan mines.

They finally have a diver in the chamber! To be continued of course.

The Martian was pretty good, the only things that really bugged me was the Hollywood nonsense. I guess they needed it to start the story, yet the thin martian atmosphere can not tip over a rocket, nor pick up a radio antenna or anything other than fine dust. It's less than 1% of Earth's atmospheric pressure. Then later it's thin again when the hab explosively decompresses, and after that somehow it manages to flap his plastic tarp fix with a 100:1 atmospheric pressure differential.
At the end the same. No override on the door as a last resort in case of fire? They have to blow up the airlock? Then round it off with more nonsense, plus now they've screwed up their orbit and miss earth on the way back yet who cares :) It was very pretty.

it took me 30 minutes to realize something which was obvious from the start scared the shit out of me i thought something was wrong with me and not with the characters.. overall looks very good if you like stop motion and its damn depressing so if you dont like that dont watch it.

^ Haha, yeah I figured as much by the way they presented bits of the next episode. They did send a rov with camera down before which found nothing, couldn't see anything either.

The presenter always cracks us up though. Some coconut fiber?? A triangle shaped rock?? A lump of wood?? A rusty bottle cap?? A dirty old sock?? What does it all mean??

The expanse is still entertaining, although last episode had a huge unnecessary flashback slowing things down. Not much else on for decent sci-fi atm.

Yes, it's on sci-fi. It's currently sitting at 8.3 on IMDB, only 9 thousand votes though.
Dang, spoiler alert. It seems my pvr failed to record the second half of the season finale. It has already aired according to http://www.space.ca/featuredshow/the-expanse/ Damn double episodes.
Guess I'll be watching it online instead, although it's probably repeated in the weekend.

Sherlock Holmes and the abominable bride 7/10
Entertaining, yet it guess it's a filler episode. No clue when the next one is on.

Oh wait, it was a special episode released in the cinema. It did look pretty, still wouldn't pay to watch it in the cinema though.
