I haven't had a chance to watch the season finale of Dark Matter yet. My dad is visiting and he wanted to watch The Hobbit first. It's just finished spread over 2 days, it felt twice as long the second time around.

Self/Less looks interesting, the trailer that is, the story sounds very cliche indeed. Currently unavailable here, odd.

I still didn't lower my expectation enough. I can forgive the piecework of tons of previous movies put together, yet the awful pacing and muddy story line drive it over the edge. It could have been so much better.

Jupiter ascending started out promising, yet the story path hindered it greatly. It was actually fun to see the mish mash of Cinderella, Dune, Soylent green, Barbarella, etc all the way to the Silver surfer. Costumes were great, special effects spectacular, yet that only added to the disappointment seeing it all wasted on such a badly constructed story.

My score for it was also dragged down by watching Interstellar again afterwards. I hadn't noticed before that Cooper shakes Alicia's hand in the worm hole while he's going back. I guess the previous 2 times I was too absorbed by the music :)

I watched zero theorem again, great movie. Weird it sits at only 6.1 on IMBD. I guess people expected too much or it's the not so subtle attack on religion.

for some reason people are upset with ep9 because they didnt see coming what was obvious from the start only thing wrong with it was poor execution. great show cant wait for s2 hated the family part (every freakin show has some unnecessary family issues) last episode could have been better.
