That was total amateur hour compared to what Grunt pulls.

If I remember it was because of the PS3. And because they added a rolling animation. |
Yeah but I'm on PC - I mean they couldn't spend another $50 adding a key to put away your gun? It probably will be DLC! Or someone will work out a mod maybe.
For a supposedly AAA franchise it's a wee bit odd - but hardly a deal breaker I guess.
Until then I'll continue to "be at war" at all times with gun ready. Or maybe Shepard wants to be constantly on guard against people making fun of his gait.
Try to be reasonable... its easier than you think...
No spoilers!? Now I CAN'T STOP noticing these things.
Thanks a lot.

It's like that thin wire in old Trinitron CRTs, once you knew about it, you couldn't stop noticing it anymore.
But yeah, not being able to holster your gun is annoying, serious RPGs have had for years this little bit of added realism about people not reacting well if you try talking to them with a weapon in your hand, this lazy choice with a lame excuse by ME3 devs is a step backwards.
I'm going balls deep in Mass Effect 3 now and I'm really enjoying it. It's just like old times. Some good moments, some sad moments, some funny moments but something new has really been pissing me off. THE ACHIEVEMENTS.
There are a few Achievements that require you to headshot 10 enemies through their shield, kill 1000 enemies total, burn a set amount of enemies, etc., etc.. Well, I'm almost finished with the game (I think) and the counter for these things has reset itself THREE TIMES. Imagine my surprise when I go from 9/10 or 400/1000 back to 1/1000. It's not a good feeling, people. It's not.
