This thread depresses me. .

But it's a good group therapy I guess.


For me: My girlfriend is a foreigner and if I want to stay with her I have to marry her. I would never had thought that I would get married, I don't like the idea so much. But I've been with my girlfriend for three years and it's time to forget about student visas and such, we need to have a proper life together. Regardless, the thought of being tied down at 25 is a bit scary.


This doesn't mean I don't love my girlfriend or anything, on the contrary, I do this scary thing because I want to be with her.

Everyone who's ever married someone in my family ended up having bitter divorces. Except my grandmother, who didn't divorce my grandfather despite having very good reasons, and they didn't seem happy. My mum never even married and she's way happier.

Right now this is it for me.  That being said I think I am an optimistic person by nature.  But damn I will keep trying and continue to have the mindset that of course I will certainly have a job soon one day.

Getting super denied by a girl, in an embarrassing fashion. That would suck
