First console was the MSX


My first game on that was Konami land


Cartridges were easy instant games, but the tape deck turned me into a little pirate at age 10. Too easy to copy games with a dual tape deck.
I started learning to program in msx basic. Made my own Pac man that could shoot the ghosts with the power ups and a Galaga type game that ran at 2 to 5 fps in basic :/ Good times drawing out sprites on graph paper to convert them in hex digits.

I just have to ask, did anyone ever play 'stunt' in the atari 2600, if someone could tell me how to play/what you were supposed to do in that game i'd be stoked, in all these years i never figured that one out (though to be fair I havent played it since I was a young girl). I recall the cartridge cost my dad $100 (Australian) & there was so little to the game it was just crazy. I think you were supposed to jump something in a car, but I just crashed out every time, none of the controls even seemed to do anything. Not the best early ad for video games, thank god for the rise of more obviously playable games huh (the first I really liked were golden axe (amiga 500) & Final Fantasy 6 (computer rip)).

If anyone does have an answer i'd be most interested to hear it

I played that game a lot. You have to stay on the track with the cursor keys and boost to get over jumps. Though not boost too much since you only get a limited amount.

I will I loved playing the beat em up ninja turtles game for the SNES so these should be just as fun.

I found that link too but thought that can't be it... $100 dollars? I have no clue what's going on from watching that video. Surely this must be worse then E.T.

Apparently it came from an arcade cabinet in 1976.

My first games machine was an Amstrad CPC 464 where you had to load the game on tape and it took 5-15 minutes to load. Technically, the machine was released before I was born, I just had it passed down from my cousins.
