| TruckOSaurus said: Quick question: Have any of you gotten any uniques or set items? I'm only at the beginning of Act III but I've yet to see one. |
I've found one Legendary axe and two uniques (hand crossbow and wizard hat) but none of them were any good. Currently at Act II Hell and about 50 hours played on the Demon Hunter.
Set items were real common in D2, guess they stopped that...

Yes I know, but d3db is much more complete (i.e - giving you access not only to the items, but also affixes and so on) and easier to use.

And people wondered why the Servers were shit on release day
. I don't think even Blizzard imagined that so many people would get the game day 1.

so if you take away the 1.2m that where given away as part of the wow annual pass is the 5.1m still a record?

Yes, I think so. 5.1m alone is still insane! But a lot of the 1.2m WoW players would have bought the game anyway I think, so we shouldn't discount that part of the numbers. |
I agree a lot of the WoW players would have bought it and probably a it enticed quite a few to buy an annual pass or continue , but for it to be a fair record I think you do have to discount it and in some ways that makes the 5.1m record even more meritorious .
