(since many of the older members are jumping in...)

I googled "console sales" or something and was very impressed with the charts and statistics.

It sucks that it's gone. Really. Either someone is lazy or their just ignorant of why the site stood out from all the others *looks above* yes indeed...

But now I stay (even though the charts are lame) because I'm not part of any other forum group and I'm too lazy to do so. It's my internet fix I guess.

This site is not biased* compared to other sites such as N4G, Head 2 Head, Gamespot, IGN. I love the active community. And here, we actually have members who KNOW WHAT THEYRE SAYING. Not just some random idiot saying "RROD! PAY TO PLAY!" or "PSN HACK! GAYSTATION!". No, we have poeple who are willing to speak sensibly. Reinforced with facts.

I'm not a newbie but I thought I'd still share.

I came here in early March of 2007 to find out about the sales numbers of the new generation. At the time, we only had monthly US and Japanese sales. I was moreso interested to see how games were doing and also to become knowledgeable for debates, etc.

A lot has changed since then.

I'm not new either. I was searching around to see how well Nuts and Bolts sold back in 09. I eventually found a link on the N&B forums that led to this site. I've been in and out since then :)
