According to a report just published, Bethesda is creating an MMO based on the Elder Scrolls universe.

The website Tom's Guide has published an article claiming that an Elder Scrolls MMO is in production, citing an anonymous industry source. The source also told the site that the game would take place a millennium prior to the events of Skyrim, and the author speculates that this would place it in the "Second Era" of Elder Scrolls. This would mean the MMO takes place hundreds of years before any game in the series.

The article gives a few more details on the purported MMO, including the plan to have "three playable factions," each represented by an animal -- lion, dragon, and bird of prey.

The article goes on to speculate that it will be shown at the upcoming E3 and at Quakecon 2012.

So essentially just World of Warcraft with an Elder Scrolls dressing to it. I assume they'll include all the continents to this game though.

since those games would be too dangerous for me to play and i will never play a mmo because of that (i could throw my life away then) it's not good for me because i will hate to read/hear other people talking about it for years ahhh

Well its one of the few IPs that could dethrone warcraft. Hell even ToR is doing some decent numbers, Blizzards behemoth is loosing some steam already. It could be a financial success if done right Cant wait to see what Blizzards Titan MMO will be about :D

They need a damn good QA team, or I doubt you'll be able to log onto the client.

If it's like a Skyrim MMO that would be fantastic. Bet they won't make it for consoles though.

what a waste, just another WoW rip off i will bet.

hmm, hopefully giants can still launch enemies into orbit, 100+ people battling an army of giants = epic rain of players.

The brand has exploded this generation so it wouldn't be surprising. :(
