I never use items like potions or ethers in RPG's because I feel like they would be more useful further along the game when enemies become more difficult. Then it comes to the point when I refuse to use items at all. Eventually I'll end up with 99 (or whatever the max is you can hold) and still wouldn't use them. I just like to conserve my items; you never know when I might need 99 potions :P

Me to ... but it helps at least making your character stronger :)

BTW : I liked going around in Crash Tag Team Racing on foot , and hitting small children :P

I drive around the island on Road rash 64 for like an hour sometimes... just making jumps and running over pedestrians

Haha yeah ben I never used healing items either. I'm cheap, so I try to never have to buy any. Especially if there's a healing class I will never use a potion.

I like ruuning people over horseback in Assassin's Creed :)

Haha, me too. When you enter a city and there are so many people there, begging to be ran over.

I figured out different high profile assassination moves besides the jump stab.

After doing so, I lured a large group of soldiers to an area where I had ruffians help me. Then, I proceeded to litter the streets with hundreds of bodies, essentially turning Assassin's Creed into GTA: Crusades.

i once looked at a tree outside

oh..

you mean in a game..hmm

This guy I was playing Tecmo Bowl on the NES beat me badly by kicking nada but fieldgoals. To this day, I am baffled as to why he just came down the field, kicked fieldgoals and had no desire to score.

In WoW I used to collect obscure clothing to try and make costumes for my Tauren Shaman. I got a bbunch of purple slik stuff, a hat with a feather, a cane-like staff, and a gold and purple cape and called it my pimp suit. Then I would go into major cities (sometimes alliance cities) and dance for hours at a time. I would also make level 1 undead characters and run them all the way to the orc/troll area at level 1. I would also try and run from one end of the continent to the other at level 1, dying many times and corpse hopping. On Alliance I would run Night Elves to the human area. A total trip time of around 30 minutes... at level 1.

In City of Heroes, I used to just fly or super jump (depending on the character) for hours at a time around exploring. I would also scale large buildings with regular jump using the windowsills. Like Spider-man! ^_^

In Star Wars Galaxies I would do nothing but drive around planets on my speeder for hours at a time exploring. When I wanted to craft I would go to a tiny house on the top of a secluded mountain in the middle of nowhere which I had named "Crafters Cabin" so that I could craft in complete solitude. Sometimes I'd go out and just sit there too. I often did similar things in WoW. Exploring and sitting in the middle of nowhere. I especially loved doing it as a rogue, knowing no one would see me. I also liked exploring strange areas.  One in particular called Alcaz Island used to house the true king of Stormwind in a dungeon underwater.  Very few people knew about it, and I always liked to go visit him.

Holy crap, I'm a freak haha.

Whenever I have the choice between doing things the cheap (easy) way or the proper (harder) way, I chose the hard way. I do not feel like I have the right to be cheap unless I do it the developers way first. For example: using a item that kills the boss, doing something that leads him into a endless and previsible routine, over leveling.

I try to get through the game with the same equipment from the beginning and as I get money from falling enemies I just collect until I get to a part when its hard and thats when I purchase new equipment. I do that in all games, I guess its a habit.

GTA3, I play it till I open the third island then I pretty much just drive around as normally as I can in a limosine [ie stay in lane stop at lights etc... if I get a bump I may get out and kill the guy who hit me, then i will get my car fixed.... white limo is preferable.

@highway star, I also stacked mines in Goldeneye, also with the cheat you can perform in the bunker [floating projectiles] I put a wall of rockets/grenades/mines in the corridor where all the goons come from, then run back and explode them by shooting. -----------------------
@lightbleeder and shissy, On my first playthrough, and any serious playthroughs afterward, I also have to check every nook and cranny.
-------------------
@goosegaws; I find that if I destroy something that I don't have to, like glass/a crate/fire extinguisher/watermelons in TS2 I make it my job to destroy all other items.
for instance the first level on Goldeneye [something Dam] I went round the whole level and obliterated everything, so once s crate explodes, I make sure to shoot it till it breaks down more.. I did this to all crates/glass/barrels/alarms/computer banks/chairs etc... however some of the glass in the early bits regenerates, so I tried to shoot it all quickly as if having everything destroyed at once is some kind of achievement.

In LoZ:Windwaker I often kill knights by using just normal attacks until the armour gives in [instead of using parry attacks]
