I think your wrong. There are obviously faster and more effective ways of exercise like going to the gym, but if you decide, I'm going to spend 1-2 hours everyday playing say, Fitness evolved 2012 or UFC Trainer AND eat healthy you will certainly start losing weight. It just depends on the person and how much time and dedication they put into it. You can't just half-ass it and expect results.

After reaching normal weight I changed my training. Right now I run 6 km two times per week in real life. And to build up muscles I still use the Wii game My Fitness Coach also two times per week. But I do all workouts with dumbbells and raise the weight slowly. I am currently training with 2*8 kg dumbbells.

Thats amazing to hear man... i hope more people do like you... i say this because i was overweight at my 16 years, i had 80kg and about 1.65m so i couldnt run 100m before get exaust... then in one (than god for that) summer i started using my bike and riding it 16km per day... after 1 month i was doing 30km and after that 40km per day with friends... i got in shape in no time so i joined the gym the year after and started lifting heavy so now im 72Kg and about 172cm with low bodyfat and i can run for 2/3km without getting exaust, i keep going allways my ride bike on weekends 20km +- fridays, sataurdays and sundays. On the Week i lift weights sometimes and do alot of walking.

Also i think i lost weight in that summer by playing Gears of War 2 because i was allways screaming because of the lag that i got wet hahaha i was 57kg once in that summer... was a crazy turn around in my life.

I'm 191cm and 71Kg, but there was a moment where I had 93Kg and that was just too much so I started to eat less and not so much unhealthy things. I did by no means eat tons of fruits or vegetables, I just ate less sweets (or no sweets at all) and less carbohydrates.
Lost 1Kg every single week until I reached 70Kg and then simply started to eat a bit more so I won't fall down to 0Kg :P

Well last time I checked I was on the brink of normal weight.
But it's true I'm too lazy to do some proper exercise.
