The only reason I like the idea of a wireless nunchuck is to get a little more weight in the unit.

I like my controllers to have a little heft to them.

Other than that, the cord never bothered me.

I don't mind heft but the Wii remote + nunchuck feels fine to me... and wireless does not mean better actually the more wireless the more chances for interference and lags due to competing signals even if they're not on the same wave length they may bother each other at some level.. On a side note the launch PS3 controller must drive you nuts I swear I felt like I was gonna break the damn thing..

Oh, I love the SixAxis. Between the light weight, lack of rumble, and occasional disconnections during critical times, there is never a dull moment while playing with it.

how can it not bother you guys? that's unbelievable. it restricts your movement so much. $29.99 is too much to ask though. maybe if it's $24.99 but if it's $19.99 obviously it's a no-brainer.

the Wii is an epidemic.

^it hasnt restricted my movement s yet so i dont know what yur saying

clearly you don't play games like warioware, wii boxing, mario and sonic, rayman, DDR... the list goes on.

You must have a faulty Sixaxis, I'd recommend replacing it.

clearly you don't play the way they're intended to!  especially DDR.

That's what I pretty much determined. I might just import a DualShock3. No reason to buy a SixAxis at this point.

I love wario ware.. the wire hasn't restricted my movement to any extent... maybe your arms are freakishly long?

Seriously.. how the hell does the wire tethering the Wii remote to the nun-chuck seemingly annoy so many people.. I don't even notice it's there...

I've tangled them a few times playig Wii Boxing. They're not a huge annoyance but if you can choose between wireless or wired why choose wired?
